2. An estuary is defined as a body of brackish water that has water streaming in from a river (Hudson) and an ocean (Atlantic). Brackish is a cool word for a mix of salt water + fresh water. the Hudson’s estuary has a nice even mix; where she’s at, probably a little more salty.

The species of rat common in NYC enjoys a similar diet to humans. Meaning it likes the food we like. They also enjoy warm spaces to burrow. For the gardens we maintain, we again, do companion planting to avoid that. Hope that helps.
