project gets a long overdue update. The tops and bases of the domes were painted, and the appropriate lining was applied. I put the whistle, number plate, and bell (not shown) on afterwards.

Just saying but what is the point of doing wooden railway if you are just going to use the shells from the bachmann models? Doesn't it sorta defeat the purpose of making a model with the toylike wooden railway aesthetic/design? It's not supposed to be hyper accurate is it?
Did a lot of Thomas bodywork. At least primed and wet sanded him like three times but he might need some filler in some areas.
Going to get a new shell for Gordon.

Ok so apparently I finished this like two months ago but never showed it off, here's the lil blue dock railroad caboose! It's a bachmann bobber with the cupola cut off. I added my typical separate grab irons using copper wire. The weathering could have been better lol

Here's bluenose, the naval engine. The navy actually owned VO-1000's, but they were painted yellow. Mine follows the traditional navy grey with white lettering that he wore in the show.

They're a little beat up from age, but back in 2019, I made some replica Rocky and Zahk faces from
@BigEngines87
's "Modern Railroad". The Rocky face fits on a spectrum GP35, and the zahk face fits on a roundhouse/athearn "critter".
