I remember Ray Hankin being amazed at how bad the pitch in Sligo was after a game there several moons ago. It’s still madly bumpy all these years later.
At the start of a new season clubs should be putting their best foot forward . No excuse for shabby walls around pitch.

The word legend probably gets overused when it comes to players. It’s the people like Aidan Mannion, who give their time, intelligence and hard work to keep the Sligo Rovers flag flying. Generation after generation.

The star above our club crest represents Johnny Chada, an Indian National, who worked tirelessly for decades as a Rovers volunteer and board member. His poem is read out every time Rovers walk out at The Showgrounds. A multicultural club 🇮🇳
