I join @BishopSouthwark in praying for peace in the Holy Land, especially in the light of the distractions coming from the USA this week.
The Damascus Gate as seen from my room in Paulus-Haus - a short walk from the Holy Sepulchre. Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, for a just and lasting peace which addresses the issues at the root of the conflict and brings reconciliation among all the peoples of the Holy Land

I was honoured to help serve food to 100+ guests on Tuesday evening at the @S_A_B_S_ and @HibsinCommunity ‘Pitch to Plate’ Multicultural Meal. On offer was food to sustain the body, but also food for thought:

Edinburgh is home to some of Scotland’s most beautiful cathedrals. I am proud that St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in the West End is featured in the Royal Mail's speciality Christmas stamp collection. Today I pushed forward for a debate on the future of these churches.👇

Wonderful to visit The Priory Church, South Queensferry, led by The Revd Gav Burnage and The Revd Iain MacRobert. All are welcome to their Christmas services. They also host one of @EdinFoodProject's foodbanks (usually Thu 11-1, but opening Thu 19th & Mon 30th Dec this month).
