This is from Oct 2022 and I can stack the 3 blocks in VR teleop in 30 seconds. 2024 bingo card aspiration: With the new robot I want to be able to do it in less than 10 seconds.

@mattparlmer Real 10kg at 1.5m is difficult to cut corners and have rigidity at the end effector. You have to beef it up which feeds a vicious cycle.

One of my worst computer graphics predictions was that we needed better quality pixels instead of more pixels. This was before 3DFX. Should have known better that we would obviously get the pixels first.
NVIDIA are pushing a graphics future where the GPU renders at low resolution and uses AI to interpolate more detail. This is basically what we did as kids in the 80’s, the graphics were blocky but our own neurons imagined detail that wasn’t there.

@GreyPouponPassr @boxcardavid 1400g is its weight. 170Nm is its torque. Divide by ~10 (gravity) and that's the load in kg at the end of 1m arm. A LOT.
