NSW recorded five locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, two of which were announced yesterday morning.

The youngest daughter of the Biloela family, Tharnicaa, hasn't known a birthday outside a detention centre.
On Saturday, the Australian-born girl will have her fourth birthday in hospital after she developed untreated pneumonia in a detention centre.
