@nottelinguagain My problem with travel sports(select baseball in particular) is that anyone that is willing to pay can play. It used to be just the more talented kids. Now they have different skill levels for the kids. That’s not how sports work. Play the best of the best or get out.

TBH I think the Astros are just doing Bregman a solid by saying that offer is still on the table. It makes no sense. It gives Bregman an offer to point to so he can get his deal though. The cherry on top is knowing that 6 yr deal is gonna age like milk and hurt another team.

@timmycando1 I think we should move on too. Altuve in LF doesn’t bother me though. It gives the club some flexibility. I think Melton eventually takes over for Chas or Jake. Then it’s a race to see if Smith or Mathew’s is ready first. Paredes plays 2B or 3B depending on who wins that race.
