I actually think George Russell is a nice guy and a fast racer, but what’s happening to him atm is what every single one of Lewis’ team-mates go through. It’s that slow but sure realisation they just aren’t as fast, and that is a painful thing to come to terms with.

We could have showed you HUNDREDS of different instances where lapped cars had to be allowed to unlap themselves before the safety car comes in after the following lap, but apparently precedent doesn’t matter when you’re fixing races to help The Great White Hope

I will admit that it’s highly unlikely Masi acted of his own accord in AD 2021. I actually think he was told what to do by higher ups and was made the scapegoat of the whole disaster. The stewards are also to blame. BUT the absolute least he should do is apologise to Lewis.

Todt literally chaired the World Motorsport Council, which agreed it was all a "misunderstanding" by the fans that was "tarnishing" the "due celebration" of Max winning.
