It’s impossible for me to describe the level of disinterest for this here. This is not something Vegas is perusing. This isn’t something locals are lining up for. This is an untrustable owner looking to cash in and MLB thinking there’s still money left to squeeze from Vegas.

I found this on Reddit. Apparently Fisher's A's have averaged 25th out of 30 teams in payroll in the last 20 years. Never been higher than 16th.

If I ever become a politician, you're gonna have to give me at *least* $10k before I even pretend to pay attention to your scam.
We've got filings from two more lawmakers!
Sen. Skip Daly (D), a yes vote on SB1, reports $2k from the Oakland A's on Oct. 25 (remember: this was months after the vote occurred in June).
Sen. Robin Titus (R), a no on SB1, did not report anything from the A's.

Even tho we constantly told them this at the hearings.
