The Assembly has passed the bill. Baseball in Oakland is probably dead. SB1 will head back to senate for another vote, but they passed it yesterday. All seems like a formality now.

If there was ever a relocation application to reject, it would be Fisher's. He's asking owners both to wave the A's relocation fee AND keep the A's on rev sharing—all so he can continue fielding perpetually impoverished teams, as history suggests he will.
Dave Kaval says that revenue sharing is important for the A’s—and now they’re planning to move to Las Vegas where they’ll get more of it by being in a smaller market. Just in case you think they’ll invest in the team once they get the ballpark.
