Despite claiming to campaign on behalf of LGB people (and despite most of us being clear that they don't speak for us) LGB Alliance seem to be advocating for what sounds suspiciously similar to Section 28.

Although I don't use it to describe myself it was late 80s early 90s queer was reclaimed by activists during the AIDS crisis, the likes of Act Up. Anyone with any knowledge of LGBT history knows it's contentious but if used inclusively not a slur.

It is exactly the same. I remember when brave lesbians basically held the news hostage to fight it.

It clearly states the goal of the exploratory therapy is away from drugs or surgery. Therapy should be directed by the patient and their needs, not the preconceived beliefs of the therapist. This is conversion therapy.
