Omg I just met one of our local Ukrainian families I’ve met them a couple of times out walking and we chat a good bit. The teenager and younger boys were so sad looking - they had found a flat football and had gone to the garage to pump it up but couldn’t. The mum told me they

Were so sad for the children. I had my husbands car (immaculate only carries necessities in the boot) I smiled and opened the boot that had nothing in it only a pump- her teenager and young boys cheered with happiness to see the ball pumping up. Why am I sharing this here?

5. Rebecca’s breakfast or she would be late for bloods - so Rebecca delighted with herself got a nice big sausage roll (she loved them) and I got tea and toast - we had a 2 minute Mrs Doyle row over who would pay but of course he wouldn’t let me. There we were proud as punch

10. Small at this stage. Micheal asked Lauren to get Conor a ball from outside- he told Conor to play around the kitchen as if he was on the pitch- and he started the commentary on our little Conor playing as if he was in the biggest match of his life…. Such a amazing memory

After a long few months battling to get very high risk 16-18 year olds recognised on the vaccination prioritisation list and following 13 months of cocooning Rebecca it was such a relief to wake up today knowing she has had her 2nd dose.❤️🌷

Thread 1/4💕Today marks the 10th Anniversary of my daughter Rebeccas kidney transplant following 16 months of 12 hour nightly dialysis. She is amazing and has taken great care of herself since coming home on her 7th birthday after her transplant. 🌷

I fell over in Galway today. Hard and fast. My lovely husband and son were with me... three kind women all on their own cane to offer assistance and support, they understood that things may not be as they appear to be. Thank you to all 🦋❤️.

There’s a nurse in

called Ruth who retired yesterday. She was so kind and generous with her time. After three years liaising with the transplant clinic I met her for the first time yesterday on her retirement day. She’s is a fantastic nurse and an outstanding human.

At 16 all children are moved to adult services. Yet our 16-18 year old children have been left out of the priority vaccine roll out. 16+yrs health care workers, rightly so are included. All Transplant recipients told to cocoon since March including our 16-18 yr olds please RT
