Because that’s what people with (Labour) principles do. During lockdown I started a mutual aid group in my town. We had 4000 volunteers and through thatwork I was introduced to almost every local Labour Cllr as they stepped up to volunteer.

2 years ago on New Years Day at this spot I asked my partner to marry me (it was also the day I told her I wanted to do more for the Croydon community)
2 years later we went back with our newborn baby and spoke about our plans for the year ahead. What a journey we are on!

So comparing a teen being able to pay for your own meals to an adult supporting a family misses the point. Hopefully a mistake on your part that you can now correct.
