Worth noting: The BLS under Biden said job growth had been overstated by 800k. Then, in the first jobs report under Trump, BLS says no, it was only overstated by 600k. The exact opposite of what you'd expect if you thought presidents were influencing these numbers.

Big @bencasselman fan, but this article gets some things wrong--and a lot right. Re the latter, strong agreement @mioana re increased dispersion in economists’ view/advice to policy makers. Min wg, trade, climate, indus policy, full emp, all good eg’s.
