We are currently experiencing a network issue impacting wireless and landline voice services for some customers in Atlantic Canada. Our team is investigating and we’ll update as soon as possible.
Two fibre cables delivering TV and some phone services to parts of Atlantic Canada have been damaged. Wireless and internet services are not affected. This is a top priority and we are currently investigating the cause and working to restore service as quickly as possible.
All TV services have been restored. Our technicians are on site to restore the remaining services. We expect all services to be fully restored this evening.
Numerous wireline and cell sites in NS are impacted by power outages across the province. As battery back-up power begins to deplete, our teams are activating generators to keep sites running. We're also working closely with NS Power to restore full power to the sites ASAP.

Today, our teams have gained safe access to some of the wildfire areas in the Tantallon and Clyde River areas. They are assessing damage to poles and cables and making repairs where possible. Over the coming days, we will continue to assess the damage to our network.
