That's a wrap for this path, it took me five hours in total. I had to gather the leaves from some sections or they would just have blown back over the path. Eighteen of the bags you see in the photo filled and strategically relocated nearby 🙃.

Third Angler fish lamp I made, I started painting them with heat and highlighting some features with brass.
Love fabricating these- except for the teeth. I think there's 48 teeth made from 12mm re-bar. Each one has to be ground to a point by hand. It takes a day to make them

Arrived on site this morning to discover some kind soul had given me a head start and scraped about 30yds down the right side. Many thanks to whoever did that.

Really pissed off with the behavior of SOME cyclists on the greenway this morning , barrelling past walkers and wheelers at speed, no bell absolute fucking idiots. No wonder cyclists get such a bad name on this SHARED use path.

Bike Stolen yesterday from outside Queens BT9

Went for a bit of a tour on the greenway flyer - Comber to Mossley Mill and back. 42 miles in cold but sunny weather, that cycle path through Duncrue Industrial estate is a disgrace.

This mornings goal was to get to the bridge. A lot of blackberry runners made it tough going but the freshly sharpened mk3 scraper and three weetabix powered on through - a few hours later I made it .
Measuring it on open maps its 600m from bridge to bridge , so multiply that

Cleared the fallen tree on the Comber rd to Eastlink section and brushed the

from footbridge at Billy Neil park to the next bridge along ..I had intended to start scraping the next section but when I saw the amount of fallen leaves I decided to clear them first.

When I talk about "scraping back" this is what I mean
The scraper has a profiled edge and is heavy, hard work but very effective and a lot easier on the back than a spade or shovel.

When I finished the path yesterday I cycled on round to the underpass. It didn't look that bad ..ahh twenty minutes will do that I thought. Until I started work on it this morning, I doubt this has ever been swept by the council, that path was worse then the greenway and that's

got off to a good start this morning but with the wind picking up and gusting to 40 knots and the weather closing in I called it a day by 12:00. The homemade scraper did the job OK but I need more mass for chopping with so I'll be making a heavier blade
