I’ve said this a million times but ppl really got so obsessed w lgbt characters only as “representation” and now can’t fathom that lgbt characters can literally just be expression for the author. Or that good representation can mean different things for different people.

There is such an emphasis on HRT these days as something needed to be happy, it's so easy to forget it didn't always exist hundreds of years ago. I think it's important to remember there were still trans men back then who only socially transitioned & lived their lives as men.

Hey trans creators. You don't have to disclose shit if you don't want to. You don't have to write a disclaimer that you're trans on your art or fics. You're not required to tell strangers on the internet what genitals you have just because they MIGHT be offended by not knowing.
