Had a sim exp with a fam member admitted to ICU. Docs wouldn’t discuss, much less admin IVM. When I pressed the issue of trying IVM...”I can’t, and I won’t”, said the admitting crit care phys who told us to prep for intubation, dialysis & worse. An Infuckingfuriating experience.
