The League City Police Department is seeking assistance to identify four suspects in a recent home invasion on Sept. 3 in the Enclave subdivision of Magnolia Creek. The suspects robbed the occupants and one of the suspects fell into the pool. If you have info, call 281-338-4174

UPDATE: League Park now has new pavers, lighting, and an improved lawn area! The contractor is working on completing the final touches, such as installation of park benches, pedestals and trash receptacles. This project is estimated to be substantially complete by November.
Mobile air monitors have been placed around

and they have detected NO levels of the chemicalsin the air. The smell is strong but there is NO current threat to public health and NO shelter in place. Air levels will continue to be monitored this evening and overnight.

NATURAL GAS ODOR ‼️ We are aware of the strong presence of a natural gas odor throughout the City and have received numerous 911 calls from residents. A leak at a chemical plant in Deer Park is causing the odor.

This week, volunteer firefighters got a visit from Avery, a local girl who had a lemonade stand at her house. Because she loves fire trucks and firefighters, she chose to donate all the money she raised to the fire department. Thank you for your kindness, Avery!

crews will begin the demolition of the FM 646 bridge over the main lanes of I-45. Also, two northbound mainl anes from FM 517 to FM 646 will be closed on March 1 at 9 p.m. until midnight on March 2. Be aware of potential impacts to your daily commute!
League City is issuing a boil water notice for all residents and businesses. Before drinking or consuming any tap water, you are advised to boil it for a minimum of 2 minutes.
Power has been restored to the Hellen Hall Library and our librarians will be opening the facility today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you need a place to get out of the cold, use a computer, or take the kids, please come by.
City officials and first responders are in active communication with regional authorities and are investigating the odor and irritant. There is NO shelter in place at this time.
