Just so we're clear, everyone understands and agrees that both cannibalism and drinking blood are sins according to the Bible, correct? Why then would Jesus himself claim that we must sin and literally eat his flesh and drink his blood in order to get to heaven? It's absurd!

I teach my children that they are Christians because in Holy Baptism God called them His own, forgave them all their sins, & gave them the Holy Spirit Who creates faith in them to believe this. Withholding this from them is the work of the devil.

The sacraments are not good works you do to obey God. The sacrament of the altar isn’t just a nice time for you to remember Jesus. It is forgiveness, life, & salvation. It is God’s work of delivering salvation to you personally through His actual body & blood.
