I have a hard time believing Putin doesn't know what is going on. Putin told Macron yesterday he wants Mariupol to surrender. In a quick successful advance Mariupol would be one of the first major cities to fall. He knows the situation on the ground.

The official number though was given 2 weeks ago. It’s not like there has been a pause in the fighting. There is an insane amount of deaths from this war on both sides. I can only imagine what the Ukrainian side looks like. The fact they are begging for a no fly zone is tragic.

I think given Ukraine has admitted Russia holds a major advantage in the air and we know the Russian military specializes in artillery with its history Ukraine is seeing heavier losses. We aren’t seeing the same videos everyday of Russian loses like we did around Kyiv.
