17 years ago today the saving of Wimbledon FC began. 3 months later the great abandoning began. 17 months later, WFC was saved. Lets not quibble about minutiae, they are, and will forever be, the actual facts.

Just to be clear the situation at

is not the same as the relocation of Wimbledon FC to MK. a) the Ricoh will still be there b) the EFL blocked the relocation c) WFC fans abandoned their club.. CCFC fans haven't. It's a bad situation but power to all Sky Blues.

The pride of Buckingham and another home-grown talent proud to be part of Milton Keynes' famed 'can-do' mentality. He had over 100 appearances for us, enough for him to be snapped up by a PL club. Incredibly sad but predominantly shocking news. Condolences to Sam and his family.
We are deeply devastated and saddened to learn about the shocking news of former Academy graduate and MK Dons player, George Baldock.
George started his career at Stadium MK, where he worked his way through the youth ranks and made his senior career debut at the Club before

AFCW formed after rich champagne socialists couldnt be bothered to save WFC. They should've been promoted in 6 years not 9. Their ground is in Tooting and isn't owned by them Our SET was formed in 2007, theirs 2013, and has over 20 disability teams. They have none. Any more lies?

If it was 'community-owned' then surely someone from their community has £11m and is a member of the DT? Or maybe the enormity of the task has forced them to look outside their community, which makes your claim they are 'shining example' a fallacious myth we all knew it was.
Really sad to see the situation at AFCW. To me, they’ve been a shining example of community ownership since their foundation and I wish them every success.
The supporters are quite right to raise concern and questions regarding the recently published statements.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rex numerous times. He was the most level headed, decent, hard working person I've ever met. A person who championed the disabled and a huge asset to both club and the DSA.
