In benchmark tests, Willow solved a standard computation in <5 mins that would take a leading supercomputer over 10^25 years, far beyond the age of the universe(!).

@JMDucksworth Maybe the closest correlate is painful or dangerous or gross domestic chores, plunging clogged toilets, fixing something on the roof, exterminating pests, investigating strange noises, cleaning up maggoty burst garbage bags, shoveling snow, etc, *if* the ‘duty’ is asymmetrical 🤷♂️

@SLKoole @Leesplez I second the renovated pyramid by @DouglasTKenrick et al, which I worked into a rap show in 2012. It puts the motivational hierarchy on an evolutionary foundation, which is necessary for the "what for" and "how come" questions that are often ignored

As with most @EventRapInc projects, this rap was written in less than 90 minutes and only performed once, but it’s fun to re-watch, especially for the the gallery, which transforms from perplexed to bemused to completely ecstatic in just a few minutes, like magic! 🤩
