@landforce
Strange coincidence: this is the second time I've seen this bottle in my life... first time was about few hours ago, when my wife got it out for some drink she made. 🤔
@WholeMarsBlog
💯
For every person who says they will not buy because of Elon tweets, I know of at least 5 who appreciate what he is doing and are actually looking at Teslas as their first EV.
@InnaVernikov
@cooperunion
These actions should lead to immediate dismissal of leadership, heavy penalties for putting students in danger, and immediate policy changes to ensure safety moving forward.
@POTUS
There is approximately $10T spent by governments in this country every year. Please tell us how this is spent efficiently, before asking for more. Thank you.
@garyblack00
I started reading it. Stopped the moment I saw "Muskeratti"... which was very early in.
For an unemotional narrative / debate, keep to simple neutral words. By using these, I already know his bias and intent.
Not analysis.
@senatormelendez
Though I'm all for EVs, I agree with this point. Government should step out of the way and let the people decide on the best vehicle. This means no support for oil, unions, etc.
@CaleCrypto
Good question. My opinion: because he...
1. Completely disrupting whole industries
2. Doesn't pay the mafia security money (advertising fees to media)
... I just realized how close the words "media" and "mafia" are to each other.
@PeterSweden7
Only EVs people want are Teslas!
OEMs are going back because they couldn't figure out how to make them with high quality or profitably.
I love my Tesla, but I get that they aren't for everyone... yet.
@Travis_in_Flint
They were all in on this together:
1. Remove all from power
2. Short term-limits for all gov't positions
3. Cameras to stream video from every gov't building/ room/hall... for transparency
4. No bills longer than 5 pages.
What other basic rules should be implemented?
@SawyerMerritt
🤣🤣🤣
Don't know what's worse... continuing to waste money on fool cell tech, or another GM partnership that'll be a bust!
Has Mary really done anything productive as a CEO?
@forwardcap
Tesla is even more impressive considering the cost of batteries and powertrain was far more expensive in 2016 than now. Also, Tesla was spending money on charging infrastructure, service center, energy, etc.
While Ford is able to leverage existing things.
@chamath
As a Hindu living in the USA for more than 35 years, I completely agree with everything in this clip. Yes, there are differences between religions... but, those of us with faith have a very strong and common bond. One that is built on decency, compassion and the want to do the
@SawyerMerritt
🤔👀
At the beginning of the quarter? Sounds like they are trying to get rid of inventory... because they'll be announcing something soon! 😎
@FredericLambert
You are truly becoming a one man clown show! I've tried to respond with reason often... but, the intention of all your articles and posts here are completely like a clown show!
@OwenGregorian
@ScottAdamsSays
Immediate removal of local leadership needed. Replace by local community leaders willing to actively provide truth, with active plans to get past the disastrous conditions.
@elonmusk
@SawyerMerritt
Several? 🤔
1. CyberTruck
2. FSD v12
3. "Model 2"
That many home runs are plenty for the $4T mark.
Cherry on top ($10T)?
A. Energy
B. RoboTaxi
C. Optimus
@garyblack00
@elonmusk
Lousy qtr again for $LCID.
$97M Rev on $292M Cost of Rev.
At 679 vehicles sold they got $143k/car, but cost them $430k/car to make!
Then another $364M OpEx on top!
Burning cash: FCF is ($823M)
Adj. EBITDA is ($414M)
😱😵
@SawyerMerritt
@Rivian
Wow! With 8054 vehicles sold, we're talking about:
Rev of $82.3k/vehicle
COGS of $206.5k/vehicle 😱
On the positive side, it looks like they're starting to reduce expenses, compared to 2021. Will it be enough?
@GordonJohnson19
@munster_gene
He specifically stated excluding regulatory credits...
Keep up "big guy".
BTW, do you have a crying or whoops emoticon? 🤪
@garyblack00
Agree with General points, but don't treat everything as "Elon took it badly". If he did, Z wouldn't stay till end of year. Some times it's best to have new person take on new roles right away, with pervious person being there to support.
Doesn't feel like a bad situation issue.
@squawksquare
Dude, you've caused these issues on yourself by massive amounts of day-trading and options. Every long-term Tesla investor knows the volatile nature of the stock.
You just went over the top for anything constructive.
You can still say what you want, he doesn't have to hear it.
@karpathy
I wonder what the air quality is inside someone's N95 face/ breathing mask. 🤔
I get the feeling that keeping it on increases the CO2 levels extremely high. Anyone have specifics?
@FrankPeelen
It might be that "FSD (Supervised)" is $99/month, while "unsupervised" version of FSD (true FSD capable of Robotaxi work) will be the original amounts ($12k or $199/mth). Might be even higher at that point.
@DillonLoomis22
A close friend of mine, who invests and trades a lot, finally rented a Model Y for the weekend. He had been a passenger in couple in the past (mine included).
Him and his wife were looking at inventories before end of the rental period! 😎
@SawyerMerritt
I have a feeling there will be massive hidden figures. Still, I'm looking forward to learning whatever I can from the info they release.
@CapitolAlert
What the heck are these folks doing?
1. Food state with illegals
2. Raise min wages so small shops have to downsize
3. Make it impossible for the small shops to use tech to stay in business...
Trying to force everyone to hire illegals (which is against the law)?!
@elonmusk
@westcoastbill
I'm developing an auto pilot system for any car. Taken me about 15yrs so far. Am certain to have it extremely successful in next 2yrs.
I call it "my son", v15 right now. At v16, it'll be able to drive most cars, but with supervision (lvl 4).
At v17, i can sleep in back seat!
@elonmusk
@SamTwits
@alexandrosM
My biggest complaint is that they never went through the full clinical trials process... yet were pushed / mandated onto everyone... including children and pregnant women.
@TeslaBoomerMama
Best part is that they've figured out a hybrid design for next gen vehicle to fully utilize the current factory space. Gives them a little buffer now for diverting capex to the huge growth areas.
@senatormelendez
Can someone please explain to our politicians what the defibrillator of "public servant" is?
Dude acting like he is doing the citizens a favor in his kingdom.
@realMeetKevin
Unfortunately, "political experience" these days means experience lying and stealing. Yeah... I'm not really looking for that experience in my pick.
@FredericLambert
Since you want to dig deeper:
How much of $ worth of chips were diverted? How would that amount sitting being unproductive for those quarters impacted the earnings? How much is Tesla gaining from the other companies?
Where is that level of info in your reporting or posting?
@AlbertBridgeCap
@garyblack00
Are you asking me to finish the article and help you identify the mistakes in your reasoning, as well as call out the areas where your inappropriately use words to paint an inaccurate picture?
@heydave7
@elonmusk
Let stock crash because of "poison pill". Compound it with selling 9.2% additional shares.
Then back up the truck when price is below half of original proposed sell offer (54.20/2 = 27.10).
Thoughts?
@SawyerMerritt
Fair. But, if you add in the Destination Chargers, you are closer.
Either way, with home charging, Destination Charging, and Super Charging we, Tesla drivers, are far better supported than any ICE cars! 😎
@hubie468
@stevenmarkryan
I think this comment was the most important low-key comment tonight.
Essentially confirms Tesla's own Robotaxi business AND that it's be a whole new model.
It makes sense, but great to have it confirmed as a planned business.
@garyblack00
@MartinViecha
Wouldn't 35-40% vehicle volume growth translate to hugger than 40% EPS growth? Especially with energy growing much faster, and FSD full rev recognition coming up (with possibly higher take rate once it's live for all to experience)?
@TOCNYS
@elonmusk
Though I get your point, Boston's Big Dig shouldn't be used as a success story for any reason. It was a disaster in every way.
@boringcompany
should stay away from making that link.
@SawyerMerritt
Did they just push it out further? 🤔
I bet their actual release will be stupidly simple or excessively complex... both riddled with corruption. 😪
@TeslaPodcast
1st pg mentions this was using 20yrs DCF model, at about 10.3%.
They assume about 9M delivers in 2030, and (here is the kicker) FSD starting to ramp in 2030, getting to 50% take rate in 2040.
I feel even this will be very conservative. 😎
@MartinViecha
@jewel_k22
Right On!!! Waiting in long lines to pay much higher amounts for fuel causing me health issues? Not me! I'll drive my EV, laughing knowing I'm doing right for my and my kids health.
Almost always charge overnight due to lower rates anyways.
@SawyerMerritt
Wait, wait, wait... ✋️
9 months from start construction to first deliveries.
GigaMx to be used for NextGen vehicle.
Soooo... is Tesla saying they are ready for NextGen by end of 2023 (to early 2024)???
