Though I'm all for EVs, I agree with this point. Government should step out of the way and let the people decide on the best vehicle. This means no support for oil, unions, etc.

OEMs are going back because they couldn't figure out how to make them with high quality or profitably.
I love my Tesla, but I get that they aren't for everyone... yet.

2. Short term-limits for all gov't positions
3. Cameras to stream video from every gov't building/ room/hall... for transparency
4. No bills longer than 5 pages.

Tesla is even more impressive considering the cost of batteries and powertrain was far more expensive in 2016 than now. Also, Tesla was spending money on charging infrastructure, service center, energy, etc.
While Ford is able to leverage existing things.

Agree with General points, but don't treat everything as "Elon took it badly". If he did, Z wouldn't stay till end of year. Some times it's best to have new person take on new roles right away, with pervious person being there to support.
Doesn't feel like a bad situation issue.

It might be that "FSD (Supervised)" is $99/month, while "unsupervised" version of FSD (true FSD capable of Robotaxi work) will be the original amounts ($12k or $199/mth). Might be even higher at that point.

I'm developing an auto pilot system for any car. Taken me about 15yrs so far. Am certain to have it extremely successful in next 2yrs.
I call it "my son", v15 right now. At v16, it'll be able to drive most cars, but with supervision (lvl 4).
At v17, i can sleep in back seat!

Best part is that they've figured out a hybrid design for next gen vehicle to fully utilize the current factory space. Gives them a little buffer now for diverting capex to the huge growth areas.

How much of $ worth of chips were diverted? How would that amount sitting being unproductive for those quarters impacted the earnings? How much is Tesla gaining from the other companies?

Either way, with home charging, Destination Charging, and Super Charging we, Tesla drivers, are far better supported than any ICE cars! 😎

1st pg mentions this was using 20yrs DCF model, at about 10.3%.
They assume about 9M delivers in 2030, and (here is the kicker) FSD starting to ramp in 2030, getting to 50% take rate in 2040.
I feel even this will be very conservative. 😎

Almost always charge overnight due to lower rates anyways.
