Never been so proud to be a part of this family. Loudest, most passionate I’ve ever heard Staples. Needed every voice to make it happen tonight.
Small piece of the puzzle, but enjoy this. Part of the process. Smell the roses.
I've always felt Blake was the most important Clipper, ever. Said this before, he didn't put the Clips back on the map, he put them ON the map. Have had better players in uniform, and teams make deeper runs, but he transformed the organization like no one before him.
I want to be very clear: the Batum Battalion Los Angeles division never suspended operations. We’ve been waiting for our French Knight to return.

I gotta say,
@jj_redick
is so refreshing on ESPN as a truth teller with great takes that are his ACTUAL opinion and not just for clicks. Happy to see a person with a real point of view discuss our league.
*This is not slander at Steven A, who I do enjoy (most of the time)
Our story continues, but my narration ends. What a weird but great year with clippers. Had so much fun with Bigshot, Corey, and The Czar. Thanks to those who tuned in over the year. 12 more W’s left my friends!!!!!!!!
The day after the season is over is my least favorite day of the year.
Just want to say how much I love our family. It’s never easy for us, but it will happen one day, I promise.
Thanks to the Czar, Jim, Jaime, KP, and our production crew, I have the best job in the world.
The story continues, but our narration comes to end. Our last show tonight. Will be a fan the rest of the way cheering on our squad. Thanks to the Czar, and Jim Jackson for a great year.
Enjoy the ride fam.

Fam, WE NEED TO BRING it tomorrow, everything we have!
I will write excused medical absence notes for you on Thursday to miss work, class, and or any other unwanted obligation you have. I'm a member of Doctors without Diplomas and have my PhB, so it’s legit. LFG!!

I lost absolutely zero minutes of sleep after last night's game. 4 of 5 starters + new addition in Rondo out and 6th game in 8 days (after crushing 76'ers and Bucks)?!? We are playing the right way, not going to sweat it. Bounce back tomorrow!
Have your jokes, but know this: 528 players in NBA last yr, only 32 avg 20p+, 2 did in less than -30m (PG, Embiid). He was -1.6ppg off from his top 3 MVP season(per48) and avg more ast and higher 3pt% last yr while working through inj. If blessed w/health, this yr will be wild.
First half MVP:
ALL OF THEM, EVERY LAST ONE!!!!
Most focused half we’ve seen. That said. The next 24 min will be the longest of the season. This one is far from over.
Impossible to express my feelings about Staples and sec 111 - from calling my first ever NBA game, to my boys first ever nba games, to celebrating big Clipper wins with my family. I have a literal lifetime of memories that I will cherish forever.
It was 6 years ago today that Steve Ballmer was 'officially' introduced as the Clippers owner. The differences from then to now are well documented, still crazy to see how far we've come. Pretty cool that the anniversary falls the same week as the Clippers begin their run.
BTW: The Clippers really won the game tonight by 20, after trailing by 20, giving up 17 3's, hitting only 6, and having 17 to's....Amazing grit for this squad.
Not sure I would change a thing the Clippers did in first half. Amazing effort/ execution. Contested 3’s, forced TO’s, PG on point. Down just 5 w/Jazz hitting 17 3’s!?!
Not sure how it ends, but I know we competing. Love this squad.
Real Problem: I can’t decide my favorite win of the year. The 2 Miami wins (no KL/pg/pat)? Atl comback (down 22 in 3rd)? Spurs (no KL/PG/Pat/Sr - Lou Traded)? Detroit (w/o all 5 starters)? or last night vs Mem?? What a season, best yet to come. We looking good Fam.
All are frustrated at recent play. I will say 3 of last 5 champs (excluded bubble) went 10-10 in last 20, including Denver last yr
ATL aside (brutal), I felt there were signs of trending up. But NEED 48 min every. single. night.
We know who we are, just need to show it
Mike Fratello, who has been part of Clippers broadcasts for several seasons, is among the group of first-time nominees for the Naismith Basketball HOF.
Happy for Bigshot, will miss him...The pressure of being my analyst is a lot to handle, glad there will be reduced stress for him on the sidelines as a coach.
The Gods that be keep moving the goal posts, but we’ll keep trying to score.
The Pels are legit and I LOVE how they have bounced back this year, but our squad will be ready.
See you downtown Fam, BE LOUD!!
This sucks.
Andrew is not only one of the best writers in Los Angeles, but the country as well. Incredible human being, class act all the way.
His game recaps were next level, his features were outstanding, and his feel for the team was perfect.
This is a tough one..
This isn't the kind of report I was planning to publish today: I'm among those laid off at the L.A. Times. I'm grateful for five-plus years at the best job I've ever had.
Amazing run, so proud. Still, sad it had to end. Our time is soon, I know it.
If you are down, I bookmarked this thread a couple weeks ago (thanks Tomer!). It’s awesome. Its less about getting to WCF and more about our family, its beautiful. Love to all, see you in October.
If you want to give a little love to the coaching staff,
@ShaunFein
is one of the many stars on the sideline for LAC. Worked with T.Mann all year. Helped Mann go from a fringe rotational player to game 6 hero.
The staff for clips is truly unrivaled from Ty on down.
Tough news, to say the least. No idea on the severity. Uphill battle against the NBA’s best. But all season, this has been the story: coming together in the face of adversity. We are battle tested and ready for it. Don’t know who wins, but I expect a fight.

Fam,
@intuitdome
is going to blow our minds. The atmosphere, the amenities, the way it will cater to the fans, having no carbon footprint, etc., will be amazing. Favorite part: There is a spot to host the championship parades. We got our home, and it’s gong to be incredible.
This play made me smile last night, our starting center rolling into a 10' J?! Then Zu plays more min than he did last year off the bench (and still crushing it)?! I'm still buzzing from last night and how we played. There'll be ups and downs, but what a nice place to start...
Blake Griffin didn’t put the Clippers back on the map, he put them ON the map. He brought a legitimacy to the organization and a wow factor that was never seen with the Clips until his arrival. He was a joy to watch and I wish him nothing but health and success in Detroit.
Not sure where Blake is physically, but only wish him well. Made my job the best in the league for many years. Could make the case he's the most important Clipper of all time. Massive shift in franchise when he came here 12(!) years ago.
ESPN story on Blake Griffin and Pistons agreeing that he will be out of the lineup until the franchise and his reps can work through a resolution on his playing future:
Pretty, pretty, pretty good day….
Needless to say, I’ve got the best job the league. Clipper Nation, I appreciate your support over the years more than you'll ever know. LETS DO THIS!!!

Listen, to me there isnt anything Den is doing that is beating Clips, it’s all Clips. THEY control how this will go. Nothing has changed: PLAY 48 MINUTES ON TUEDAY AND ITS OVER! Also, we have Kawhi, they don’t. Remember that.
But, man Den is TOUGH.

A win is a win. Winning in playoffs without your best stuff is hallmark of a champion. Lots of work to do, game 1 under their belt. Will (need to) be better Wednesday.

Head coach Ty Lue says "camaraderie" & "health" are the most important things for the
@LAClippers
next season.
His full conversation with
@BSieman
drops tomorrow.
#ClipperNation
Won’t go down without a fight.
My biggest concern was fatigue, while the clips are playing hard, these haven’t been taxing minutes. Free flowing game. Should have enough juice to continue into 2nd half. Love how they are playing.

Day 2
-Less physical, still intense
-20 players, 4 sets of 5, all players spread around - no starting 5 five group
-Russ’ energy is infectious
-Kawhi wearing fitness band, presumably interested in the fitness metrics of practice
-Mai tai’s are still really good
All the feels tonight when we see a player who helped the team get into the position they are in now. I hope we remember their contributions. Please, give a warm welcome to Mike Muscala.
What was your favorite moment from the

When Chuck said they’d win by 20, I got nervous. Seriously.
Loved the 1st half energy, but they slowed down. When Den pushed in 4th LAC lost their way.
Den is no joke. NEED 48 minutes!Sunday is the day. You can be frustrated and still enjoy the journey. We got this.

Need that same defense for 48 min going forward, DEN too talented. Great win. Won’t be seeing any PG slander for a while. Both he and Kawhi were incredible. Might have to wait on the bench a little while longer but they made some nice plays in 4th.

Seriously, this is why this guy is one of my favorites on here. ALWAYS POSITIVE, yet honest and true. He has an elite basketball IQ and a phenomenal view on life. If you are not following this man, get on it.
the clippers had no all stars in the playoffs against kd steph & the warriors on the road. was down 30. came back and won. u can rebound from rough starts. it happens. it can make for a better story sometimes too.
While he may be the richest owner in sports, this is not his best attribute as an owner. His ability/willingness to allow basketball people to make basketball decisions is the main reason LAC has a chance to win. All owners have $$, not all allow their FO to go to work.
