@Monae_BK If this bill passes it will just add another piece of paper for tenants to sign “hiring” the broker before they can see the apartment - or else the fee will be added to the rent (this is already the case in “no fee” apartments).

@subtle116 @CitiBikeNYC @RitaJosephNYC @Bklyn_CB9 According to the updated map they also added them at Bedford & Midwood and Nostrand & Sterling. The more southern ones are still pending.

@LouforFlatbush It is tough living here, no arguments from me. But for me it’s worth it. A life of ease elsewhere wouldn’t feel like living.

@LouforFlatbush LA is a bore in that you need to drive everywhere. Chicago has definite advantages but the climate sucks & it’s really secondary in most other attributes (except great architecture). Philadelphia is probably the best of the lot & where I’d go if I had to leave NYC.

@LouforFlatbush If there were anywhere else I’d rather live (& I have lived elsewhere as an adult, including 8 years in Paris - definitely my #2 on the list - but I missed NYC much of the time) I’d be doing my best every day to get there.

@LouforFlatbush I had someone call me a while ago, literally in tears. She’d purchased a farmhouse & land in a southern state at the start of the pandemic & sold her NYC co-op in 2021. Now all she wants is to come back here - she really doesn’t even care if she takes a loss on her new place.
