We enjoyed supporting our key workers' children today, whilst they carried out their valuable and much appreciated work. The children were fabulous and had an active and creative day. They are now excellent at measuring 2m distances. Well done children.

We are in the East Regional Sports hall Final. We missed the Edinburgh final by 2 points but came second and I am not complaining about that! I can’t express enough how proud of them I am !🥳

P4A participated in a class 'mock trial' as we shared evidence and discussed the key figures involved in the Titanic disaster! There were some excellent dramatic performances on display showcasing examples of persuasive language! We continue to deliberate over our verdict...
This week the children in P4A were asked to bring a special poem to our live session. Our very own Millie decided to write her own poem which is a thoughtful and witty reflection on last year.
P6C went to visit Chamberlain Nursing home. We sang them a song and gave them booklets the pupils had made about themselves. We hope to visit again soon!

Today we had a whole school assembly to celebrate Bruntsfield PS receiving The Gold Rights Respecting Award! We are very proud of all our pupils’ hard work which went into achieving this. Thank you too to Miss Dobie, Miss Doig and Mrs Nicol.
7A had a fantastic workshop at The Hub today.....The Art of Listening. A great learning experience for all...including their teacher and the lovely mums that accompanied us.
Thanks to all the parents and careers who came along to support the children at sports day. The children were great and the sun shone.☀️It was so lovely to have it back!
SSAA Road Race Championships in Dunfermline. The P7 girls team came in second overall. Amazing achievement and everyone did really well. Very proud of them all.
P1 made flapjacks this morning! Thanks to the kitchen staff for your assistance 😍. We enjoyed sampling them together as a year group in the afternoon . Lots of happy faces 😁
We are delighted that one of our parents, Ramy Habeeb, who is an author is going to be working with all our pupils over the coming weeks to put together a collection of short stories. The book will be published in eBook and paperback form in June.
