11 AM ADVISORY: Milton continues to strengthen and is on track for a Wednesday landfall on the west coast of the Florida Peninsula. The worst wind and rain will be north of the center with the worst surge to the south. Landfall possible anywhere from Crystal River to Naples.

We have been tracking
#Helene
on Klystron 9 and we can assure you that Helene is not making a hard east turn. We have drawn dots on the center of the eye every so often and its latest movement is due north. Overall movement will be NNE with the core passing west of Tampa.

Tropical Storm Helene has developed in the western Caribbean. It will likely become a hurricane tomorrow. It could be a major hurricane as it passes west of us on Thursday. Hurricane force gusts will be possible at our coast, but the Cat 3 winds will be well offshore for us.

Here is the latest forecast track for Milton. It is probable this will become a major hurricane in the eastern Gulf of Mexico with landfall on Wednesday on the West Coast of Florida. The locations of the worst of the surge, wind, and rain will be dependent on the exact track.
