Would be good to measure this against population growth as well. These numbers would need to be unpacked to get a clear picture. Social grants are also quite broad, 8.3% of SA's population is over 60 years old (social grants beneficiaries).
We must look at this with context.

There is so much truth in this. "My therapist said..." becomes a way to justify any BS they do.
Also it makes sense because therapists are people too, and some aren't good at their jobs. Also, people lie to their therapists and simply go there to validate themselves.
I have a theory about therapy being a breeding ground for toxic behaviour too but I might get cooked for it.. so let me hush 🫠
