We had the opportunity to connect with Dr. Andrew Shih during #BMM2024, where he shared his insights on how to apply #PatientBloodManagement learnings to better prepare patients for surgery. "I can learn to be a better advocate and a more informed advocate; this is especially important as you try to have conversations with your institution about why this is such a valuable patient need. It helps that this comes from multiple messengers and that everyone is on the same page about it." Dr. Shih's perspective highlights the critical role of collaboration and communication in enhancing patient care. What are your thoughts?
