A stunning display of nacreous clouds across Scotland today and yesterday. Did you spot them?
Known as 'mother of pearl' clouds due their shimmer, these rare clouds are 12 miles high, where the air is -80C. The sun's rays reflecting off ice crystals leads to the rainbow effect.
