@Azul_GG I mean, the YuGiOh anime is based on the cards but it doesn't even follow the rules of the game because it's too complicated LOL.

The corner has some whitening. Think of it like scratching your car. Except with cards, damage is usually permanent and irreversible in most, if not all cases. When value proposition is based solely on scarcity and condition you get little nuances like corner whitening. It may not matter to you, but grading things based on condition is a very old method and it's simply expanded to very niche communities like trading card games. In general, these things don't matter to people other than those whom they matter to. Similarly to how somethings value is simply tied to what someone is willing to pay for it.

@trollandroidx @PokeDuelsTikTok I've played YuGiOh, Pokemon and MTG and my least favorite is YuGiOh. It just gets more insane every year. I like MTG as it has the commander format (4+ Players), cards are extremely affordable, and it's very easy to make a simple deck. Pokemon is also very straight forward!

@birdftw24 @PokeDuelsTikTok If difficulty/complexity in TCGs is what you consider fun, sure. You may not know this, but Pokemon is aimed towards young kids. Being easy to understand and pick up is one of the main reasons why Pokemon is the #1 media franchise of all time, and also the #1 TCG of all time.
