It’s entirely normal, for both parties. Thats what a stump speech is.
The speech changes over time, bits added to address current events and what not, but a stump speech is a pitch to voters. It’s not supposed to change, so manpower can be focused on actual vote earning

I’ve had coworkers who were homeless before. I’ve been homeless while being employed before.
A lot of homeless folks have jobs. It’s not a personal failing that your job doesn’t pay you enough. It’s society’s.

Her job wasn’t to solve the issue at the border.
It was to figure out *why* people were leaving their home counties and find possible solution. Biden always had control and responsibility of the border. Not the Vice President.

He doesn’t have to resign, if he loses he’s still a senator. And not up for reelection until 2026.
If he loses it’ll be a Trump midterm… which would be good for him. If he wins? He’ll be VP.
