@kurenaiseiba @Regris_Kallen Morinaga's apparently been manufacturing it under license since 1983. They lost the license and are discontinuing it on March 31. I imagine Unilever will just move it under one of their brands in Japan instead if it's still popular.

@yenpress Will you be revising the translation in the early volumes as well? I have the first printing and the first 3-4 or so were very rough in parts, with some characters names not being consistent even inside the same novel let alone between one to the next.

@noreasonspec IDK, I don't think that a country should be able to strongarm a foreign-owned one into being bought out wholesale by a domestic one just because the government has some vague issues with how it smells.

@Serrels I dislike that "Soulslike" has come to just mean "frustrating and difficult" rather than describing the structure and gameplay of those games

@VOOK64 Switch is on track to pass the lifetime sales of the DS and be the most successful system they ever released. They have no real reason to take a risk and change a working formula IMO.

@noreasonspec But despite that have not seen any plans to move power lines underground, again because these sorts of events are rare and if they are the only justification for doing it, the cost is still way too high.

@noreasonspec Incentivizing the power companies to make their grid more resilient sounds like a good idea but I think even if you could claim a few hundred for food spoilage (very very hard to see how to implement that btw) it would not amount to enough to offset the cost.

@noreasonspec Chunks of the greater Seattle area lost power for a week or more late last year after a Bomb Cyclone came through and it's still much cheaper to just fix those lines than to put underground, even when those areas have big trees everywhere.
