@adrianhughes0 @LeeDavidEvansUK Understand Moore is well regarded and railed against unpopular (in the more affluent parts) Labour-run Bradford Council, plus Gaza hurt Labour enough in Keighley to allow the Tories to retain it

@CAChalmers_ @LeeDavidEvansUK Boundary changes played a major role. They moved all the Labour-inclined areas into Stockton North or M&TE, whilst adding a lot of rural conservative terrain between Stockton and Darlington. This made Stockton West quite a safe seat with nearly a full set of Tory councillors

@SVunny52957 @ElectionMapsUK Donβt know for sure, but possibly so the new councillor can attend the council meeting later in the week

@charliemansell @ElectionMapsUK @andrewteale Reform wonβt win it, if anyone takes it itβll be the Tories, they only came 15 votes short in Hendon last year and will want to show they are making inroads here

@fgdxgghfghffgf @ElectionMapsUK There were two seats, a Green and an Independent both won, the Green councillor resigned and caused this vacancy

@bigsausagelips @ElectionMapsUK They're really gunning for the Torfaen seat, that's the seat to look out for Reform

@ij_Reasbeck @ElectionMapsUK It could be close, but I'm not sure its the kind of place where the Tories have recovered yet, its a quite a liberal area, we'll see on Thursday

@ElectionMapsUK Imagine the incumbent party will generally hold their seats this week, although potential for some upsets. Reform are really gunning for the Torfaen one though, that's one to watch

@georgedmadgwick @ElectionMapsUK Probably so the new councillor can attend their first meeting later in the week, not sure exactly though

@ARTCommentry @YouGov Bet you didn't call them corrupt when they had Reform ahead in their latest voting intention poll

@KemalistGlory @YouGov I'm not saying Reform have hit their ceiling, but you said Reform have 30%+ support, that isn't true, at least at the moment

@reformexposed 73% are the best figures out of all politicians. Reform voters are more enthusiastic about Farage than other parties voters are enthusiastic about their party leader

@cllranderson @YouGov People can dislike both politicians but dislike Farage more than Starmer, and Farage is polarising - more people like him than other politicians, but more people dislike him as well.

@KemalistGlory @YouGov I never said they did. But a lot of those 70-75% dislike Farage more than any other politician. Also, 29% is the maximum Reform have got in any poll, he doesn't have 30%+ support

@KemalistGlory @YouGov He's a Marmite character, quite divisive - 20-25% the population really like him, a lot of the remaining 70-75% don't and prefer other politicians to him

@cllranderson @YouGov Just because people don't like Starmer, that doesn't mean people prefer anyone else
