Pain from a missing limb by definition isn't caused by its inflammation FFS. Hopefully you have a soul and the shame you feel will make sure you never again comment on a subject you are wildly ill-informed on.
I’m not so sure smaller doses of opioids decrease pain. Larger doses maybe. In theory anti-inflammatories would be a better treatment than opioids. Especially considering dependency issues. With any real injury there’s still going to be enough inflammation after anti-inflammatories for the body to recognize and heal. I don’t care what the science showed. Opioids present to affect mental pain more than physical. Wonderful euphoria for most people when abused though.
