You may get a notification on your phone from AIB Mobile warning you about criminals targeting AIB customers. You don't need to take any action from this, it is a reminder that we will never call, text or email asking you to click a link & give login details or card reader codes

We have been alerted to a fraudulent SMS/ smishing attempt targeting AIB asking customers to activate SCA by clicking on a link. AIB will never email or text you asking for personal or login information. If you have responded to these texts please contact us immediately.
The issue experienced on Friday with Visa cards has been resolved. They can be used as normal at POS & ATM’s. Any incorrect pending transactions on a customers account will be corrected over the next few days and no customer will be dis-advantaged as a result of this issue.
