I apologize for my breakdown on stream. I saw my life flash before my eyes as a 1/4mi wide suction vortex crosses the highway 100yds in front of me. And then looking as the whole sky was just a tornado. I was way closer than I thought. The last picture before I was impacted.

Today 12 years ago, Probably One of the Top 5 Strongest tornadoes ever tracked across Central Oklahoma. Yes stronger than Smithville, Moore, etc. El Reno-Piedmont was a whole new beast. However it is forgotten to most overshadowed by The Super Outbreak and Joplin.

Rolling Fork tornado just as it crossed the river, having 3 HUGE Sub Vortexes indicating a very violent tornado. Likely at EF-4/5 intensity. Not more than 5 minutes later, the town would be impacted. And countless lives turned upside down, including mine.

Sadly our time in Rolling Fork has come to an end. The church steeple ringing was an emotional thing for all in attendance. This community and state is strong, and I know they will rebuild. And that this night one year ago will always be remembered.

Today is a sad day, One Year ago today I witnessed the worst tornado of my life. Destroying the small town of Rolling Fork, MS. But even worse was the fact that this tight knit community was torn to shreds and lives were lost. The mental health problems continue today from it.
