As my great-nth grandfather famously said: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The fact is, mutual good will has been absent for a LONG time as the elites plunder the masses whom they regard as untermenschen. Large corporations are increasingly inhuman - indeed algorithmic. How to repair such a busted polity? Do we have sufficient shared values and if so can those who do find a way to repair a system designed to deceive and plunder? At least in this relatively young American republic, we are in uncharted waters. And it has always been dodgy from the get-go which is why the original Constitutional Convention was so fractious. One could argue that the Framers were unable to frame well ab initio. I think the way Trump 2.0 is going about everything right now is overly hasty, sensationalist, media-driven, imprecise, seemingly improvisational. Feels reckless. Bold, yes, but also reckless. Am still hopeful because brought indoctrinated by Hollywood transmitted 'American Dream' positivity, but common sense is telling me things ain't lookin' good. Going to be a long century!

@CynicalPublius America has been a post-constitutional kleptocracy for some time. Hardly surprising it's a thicket of inconsistencies overlaid with dense brush of lies. The US is about to go through intense turmoil. There is no clean and easy way through this mess.

But I believe his cause is that he is striking a blow on behalf of ordinary people against....." I am trying to explain his cause (not mine).

@CynicalPublius I wld never trust doctors to do something like that. I had one procedure in Canada 20 years ago and ever since have been bleeding every day and they can't fix it. I went to dentists all my life and paid 0000's, but have lost most of my teeth. For some it's great, for others not.

@OcrazioCornPop This has to stop. These cases must go to SCOTUS which must be the only Court able to do these nationwide injunctions. The Lower Courts can send them up but not block at their level. And until SCOTUS blocks, they remain in effect.
