@DavidFBrand Pinky donated to several NY politicians more recently than Rajkumar, including David Weprin and Kathy Hochul. Our campaign has no problem returning the contribution out of an abundance of caution.

A leader who takes action, Assemblywoman @JeniferRajkumar introduced the Get Nonprofits Paid Act to require the City to pay nonprofits in 30 days. She make things happen, often against the odds. Every NYer wants a fighter like her in citywide office.
Levine's energy is in the right place here, but this isn't really a job for the comptroller. This is a mayoral administration issue more than anything else. The comptroller can push & prod & do accountability work, but the problem is fundamentally about mayoral admin processes
