As a follow up to the latest version, Auto-Rig Pro now supports 3 legs IK chains, in the 3.47.14 version. Generally quadrupedal creatures walk on their toes, but it may be more convenient to use a full 3 bones IK chain.

Working on optimizing Blender's animation baking tool, reaching x3 speed up so far when baking fully animated skeleton (139 bones): baking 1000 frame takes 45 sec with, versus 145 sec without optimization. Looking forward to submitting the patch to Blender dev once ready!
