Nearly £6500 raised for Shakespeare Hospice.
It has been so lovely seeing our year 13 students back in the school building today to collect their results. You have all done brilliantly and we are so so proud of each of you for how you've responded this year ❤️

As you are aware, we have worked hard to try & open the school tomorrow. Further deterioration in the weather & the most recent forecast mean that we are concerned about the safety of staff & students as they travel to school. We will now be closed on Tuesday 12th. Apologies!
Mr Mellor has walked around lessons this morning and has been blown away by the way students are conducting themselves during this time. They are a credit to you all. A further letter update will be uploaded to our website and sent home with students at the end of day.
All of us in the Arrow Vale community shares the sorrow of the entire nation following the announcement from Buckingham Palace on the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen.
We had a visit from the Health & Safety Exec on Friday, looking at our control measures & risk assessment. We were graded as 1 in all categories (1 highest 4 the lowest) which we are very pleased with. Thank you to all staff, students & parents/careers for their continued support
We are really looking forward to widening our provision to include more face to face contact with students on Monday. We are ready to welcome you and so excited!!

Big shout out to Mr Brennan, Mr Preston and Mr Mellor who are continuing to train hard to get race ready for their mega challenge to raise funds for The Shakespeare Hospice. Last Friday they ran a whopping 30 miles after school.

We are so proud to announce that Chloe and Lucy (year 9) were part of the incredible Kingfisher FC U14s, who were victorious against Redditch Utd with a 4-0 win in the Mercian League Cup Final.

Cake sale at school today was awesome - so many staff donated these delicious delights. We will be extending the cake sale to tomorrow as well. Pop into the OC & grab a nice treat all in aid of a great cause.
