It's very easy when doing a clean to first get them wet or even worse start firing a steamer at them. Resist the temptation and always start a clean with dry clean methods. Our crumbly eraser/combi brush achieving great results on this pair of GT Manchester.

Patch up, deepclean and protect. Used a piece of suede to patch internally then brush work to blend it in. Clean and Reno-Revive managed to drag enough dye from the shoe to not need a redye. Hopefully our colour reviver will be released in the next month 🤞

These 2 pairs finished today. Lads made the trip from Doncaster to drop them off. Both Deepcleaned and abit of dye work on gazelle stripes. No filters and fully dry when pics taken 😁

Stockies completed today. Deepclean didn't come up with the desired results so redye it is. Nap was pretty flat on these. But managed to salvage it and nice and soft now. Where possible we live it original and that was the case with the stripes and heeltab.

There's right and wrong ways to dye a trainer. We had these slimes in and as you can see from the first and last (Google image) the colour is totally wrong from a previous redye. With a fair bit of work we got there using our custom made dye ✊

Completed Samba job from the earlier prep pic. Suede dead in so many areas so lots of nap work needed using various methods (blade, eraser and brushes) then only the deepclean using Reno-Clean. We'll put a link on underneath of dry work instructional for anyone interested 🙂

Here's our homage to the Dublin using a Silver base with a little tongue in cheek decal added. Took a good few coats of our electric blue but we ain't far off 😅

With the current situation we've not been doing as many restores as normal but still managing to get a few in. This pair in for the works. Suede was pretty beat up but managed to do abit of rescue work on them. Full redye (shoe&sole) and new decals fitted.

Good evening. A hectic past week with the opening, apologies if we've not got back to everyone. We've had alot of jobs in through the post and dropped off. We're working though them. As we've always said we'll never rush the job we do, we'd rather extend the waiting time 👍

A question we get alot is how do we paint around the decals and the answer is..........luckily we don't have to in most cases 😅 Dye doesn't penetrate metallic but be carful around white and non metallic as it will potentially stain them.

Suede was pretty beat up on this pair of gazelle but salvaged them to some extent. The flat nap doesn't make life easy. Full redye and replaced to tongue label as well. Went for rope places to give them a new look.

UA's completed today. Stunning pair and hard pressed to find anything to this build quality. Redye as there wasn't much dye left in them and abit of shoe cream on the soles as there was oxidation. Fully protected and ready to go. These and churches well up there for me.

As promised here's the project William has completed. We've been working with him over the weeks on the dry clean element of restoration and as you can see he's put it into practice. Having him in the shop with is a breath of fresh air for us all.

Not often you see never mind get your hands on footwear from 1957. I wonder what tails they could tell. Didn't go to mad with these and kept them as original as possible. Good clean and leather condition keeping the character of the boot. Was an honor to work on these 🙏

This job was abit of a challenge. Not perfect but back to a wearable state. Reshape was challenging and obviously due to pretty much full dye loss redye was the only option. Deepclean is always our first option but sometimes jobs go beyond that. We do what needs to be done.

Using Flairosol technology there's no need for nasty aerosols & we'll be keeping waste to a minimum with refills in various sizes and store refills. We'll be arranging a launch/get-together once we've finalised dates etc. Be good to catch up 🙌

Custom paint on these BC's for one of our regulars Trevor. Heel, Stripes and lace change was the original plan but decision was made after that to go for tongue repaint to break the colours up that little bit more and leaving the tongue print gives it a nice look.
