A very unique occasion in STP this evening when father & son Richie and John Paul Lohan played together on Arravales Jnr B hurling team. They were also joint captains for the match against Clonoulty that Arravale won by a point. John Paul scored the winning point. Hon the Lohans.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Arravale Rovers stalwart Paddy Maher. Paddy served the Rovers loyally and well as a player, selector, manager and committee member. He was justly proud of the sporting success of his children and grandchildren. R I P.
