Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly attended the UK Armed Forces and Irish Defence Force men’s football match at Ballymacash Rangers Football Club’s Bluebell Stadium tonight. This is the first time the fixture has taken place in Northern Ireland and the deputy First Minister took the opportunity to welcome the teams to Lisburn.

In 2024 the Army Cadet Force (ACF) are marking 80 years in Northern Ireland. This morning, to celebrate this massive milestone, Cadets paraded through Ballyclare, where the first unit was established. The parade involved nearly 200 young people and 50 adult volunteers.

Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Mull of Kintyre Chinook helicopter tragedy members of 38X hosted a service at Thiepval Barracks. Joined by members of the Int Corps Association, PSNI and the RUC GC Foundation they honoured those serving personnel who lost their lives.
