@MaggieStrongarm Thank you, Maggie! We still haven't managed our coffee 😅 and I didn't even get to grab you at your launch and say congrats! When school goes back we have to have our catch-up ♥️

@vcarswell @RIAdawson I'm so sorry for your loss, pal. Éibhear was one of my lecturers when I was an undergrad in UCC back in the late 90s and though I didn't know him personally, I remember his lectures very fondly.

@allenbratton Had an extensive (EXTENSIVE) discussion about Henry Henry the other day and the consensus was that one of the (many) things we loved so much about it was that Hal so very much Has A Body. That feeling of viscerally knowing him is so compelling.

Entering the final hour still entirely in love with this book, desperately wanting to put off being finished, but also desperate to know how it ends #henryhenry

Been waiting for this for so long and have been shirking responsibilities all morning so i can just keep reading. One of those books that's thrilling to encounter as both a reader and a writer, in terms of a craft perspective as well as everything else that's brilliant about it.
The UK edition of Henry Henry is out today. After all of these years, Hal, Henry, the Lancasters, Percy, Jack, Poins, Richard, even Francis are alive and out in the world. I owe infinite thanks to everyone along the way who's made this possible.

@PressSans the excitement of my first publication - I'll always treasure my contributor copy. And Donal Ryan said nice things about my piece, the thrill! I couldn't have wished for a better experience in sending my first story out into the world.
we loved having one of Aoife's stories, the softness of it and the vividness of Cork, so we cant wait to read more!

Working with @the4facedliar has been a true pleasure. The atmosphere at the launch was like being surrounded by friends. A delight from start to finish, thank you FFL for your support.
@AoifeEsmonde is a writer from Cork, with work in @stingingfly @PressSans & @Paper__Lanterns and is currently finishing a novel. We loved Aoife’s tender short story Spike set on historical & cultural Cork landmark @SpikeIslandCork & were so happy to include it in Issue Two✨
