@Joseph_Spurgeon Anglicans have far more in common with Rome than with Calvin. Besides, the Articles are not a Protestant statement/confession of faith; they are a historical document that was brought about as a compromise, designed purposefully not to offend Catholic or Protestant sensibilities.

Anglicanism is the best church (imo) BECAUSE we donβt have an exhaustively detailed catechism or confession of faith. Our reformers defined the essentials in the 39 Articles and BCP catechism (both of which are quite short) and then stepped back.

My pastor says our parish is going to switch from the ESV to the NKJV as soon as the Lutheran Missal comes out. AND weβre going to be using the KJV for the Psalms. To say Iβm excited would be an understatement.
