@HPluckrose Yes it's probably only a small proportion of athletes who win gold medals. (Although the numbers are high too: over 900 sporting opportunities have been lost by women & girls & given to men).

@nmdacosta He also happens to be the third baronet of somewhere. Like E R, he may be more accustomed to liaising with or accessing those in power than the numerous other poorly funded -or unfunded organisations, who were not invited to contribute to this life & death discussion.
