@AnnTravers6 Yes, I particularly remember Garda Gary Sheehan, murdered during the Don Tidey rescue. I spent ten days in that frozen hellscape in Leitrim. And Garda Frank Hand, murdered in Drumree, Co Meath in 1984. I was there very shortly afterwards at the scene. He had no chance.

Remembering all those from An Garda Síochána who lost their lives , and the widows of those murdered by Irish republican terrorism and those brave serving officers who were seriously injured and their families 💕
