The lockdown was indeed unnecessary. Gerontocratic elites fear death however.
I full recognize that there was indeed a novel, flu-like illness with a death rate significantly higher than a normal flu season. But the global hysteria was a phenomenon only loosely related to this viral issue, and seemed to originate from "theatrical" propaganda in China.
